Swiss-Belhotel International has announced the promotion of Garry A. Garcia to Senior Regional Director – Operations and Business Development, Philippines, recognizing his contributions to the company’s growth and operational excellence across the country.
Garcia has served as Regional Director – Operations and Business Development, Philippines since 2019, playing a key role in supporting hotel operations, driving business development efforts, and contributing to the growth of Swiss-Belhotel International’s Philippine portfolio. His expanded role reflects the company’s confidence in his leadership and strategic vision.
The promotion comes as Swiss-Belhotel International continues to strengthen its presence in the Philippines through ongoing expansion initiatives, including the upcoming Carmona Garden Suites by Swiss-Belhotel in Cavite and another project currently under development. These investments reflect the company’s long-term confidence in the Philippine hospitality market and its commitment to expanding its footprint in key destinations.
In addition to his regional responsibilities, Garcia continues to serve as General Manager of Valero Grand Suites by Swiss-Belhotel in Makati City. Under his leadership, the property has consistently achieved industry recognition, including six consecutive years of Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards, the 2025 Agoda Gold Circle Award, and recognized as a 2025 Top Producer by Trip.com. Under his leadership, the property also transitioned to renewable energy through its partnership with First Gen Corporation, demonstrating a proactive approach to sustainability and operational resilience.
