Radisson Hotel Group has signed three new properties in the Philippines with SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation, strengthening its presence in Metro Manila and Greater Manila while reinforcing the country’s role in the Group’s regional growth strategy. The new signings introduce a dual-branded complex at the SM Mall of Asia and add a new hotel within Santa Rosa’s SM Neo Verde development.

This year marks Radisson Hotel Group’s 15th anniversary in the Philippines, following the opening of Radisson Blu Cebu—its first hotel in the country. From a single property, its Philippine portfolio has expanded to six operating hotels totaling 1,436 keys, with fifteen more under development that will add an additional 3,090 keys.

Peggy Angeles, Executive Vice President of SM Hotels and Conventions Corporation (SMHCC), stated: “As SMHCC continues to expand its footprint in key growth areas across the Philippines, these three upcoming hotels reflect our commitment to elevating the country’s hospitality landscape through meaningful, future-ready developments. The dual-brand complex at the SM Mall of Asia and Park Inn by Radisson SM Neo Verde are purposefully designed to meet the evolving needs of business, leisure, and MICE travelers. We are pleased to strengthen our long-standing partnership with Radisson Hotel Group as we work together to create integrated destinations that drive tourism, enrich communities, and contribute to national economic growth.”

“SM Mall of Asia and Santa Rosa are high-conviction locations that align with our brand ladder and our owners’ ambitions,” said Ramzy Fenianos, Chief Development Officer, Asia Pacific, Radisson Hotel Group. “The dual-brand complex will support large-scale events and corporate demand while offering more options for leisure travelers. Santa Rosa reinforces our Greater Manila strategy with a mixed-use destination poised for significant growth. We are proud to expand with our trusted partner, SMHCC, in a market where we see strong, sustained demand across segments.”

Dual-brand complex at SM Mall of Asia (Opening 2031)

At the heart of the 67-hectare SM Mall of Asia Complex, a new mixed-use hospitality hub will unite Radisson and Park Inn by Radisson under one address, providing travelers with expanded options for business, meetings and events, and leisure.

Radisson Hotel SM Mall of Asia Manila will offer 200 rooms, including 49 suites and a presidential suite. Key features include a lobby lounge bar, a specialty rooftop bar and restaurant spanning 160 sqm, and a pool bar. The hotel will offer 3,486 sqm of meeting and event space, anchored by a 2,160 sqm ballroom, plus an executive lounge. Amenities include a gym, outdoor swimming pool, and children’s pool.

Park Inn by Radisson SM Mall of Asia Manila will add 300 rooms, including 45 suites, providing a seamless midscale complement within the complex. Facilities include a coffee bar and pool bar, gym, outdoor pool, and kids’ pool. Its location will benefit from major demand generators within the Mall of Asia district, including one of the world’s largest malls, the SM Mall of Asia Arena, and the SMX Convention Center Manila. The upcoming SMXCITE, expected to open in 2027 and host up to 20,000 attendees, is projected to significantly increase demand for rooms and flexible event venues across the area.

Park Inn by Radisson SM City Sta. Rosa (Opening 2029)

Located in the city center of Sta.Rosa, Laguna,  about 45 minutes from Manila, Park Inn by Radisson SM City Sta. Rosa will feature 200 rooms, including 25 suites, within a rapidly growing mixed-use development. The hotel will offer three F&B outlets, modern meetings and events facilities, a gym, outdoor swimming pool, children’s pool, and dedicated outdoor play areas.

The broader SM City Sta. Rosa development will include the hotel, the upcoming SM City Mall, and a new bus terminal set to become Santa Rosa’s transport hub by 2029. Future phases will introduce office and residential towers. The hotel is slated to open the same year.

Strategic Impact

These signings underscore Radisson Hotel Group’s commitment to expanding with trusted local partners in strategically selected locations that blend strong demand drivers with long-term infrastructure plans. The SM Mall of Asia complex continues to anchor large-scale business, trade, and leisure visitation in Metro Manila, while Santa Rosa accelerates its emergence as a Greater Manila hub with enhanced connectivity and mixed-use momentum. Collectively, the three hotels will broaden traveler choice, strengthen Radisson’s brand presence, and support job creation and tourism growth across the Philippines.
