Sherwin Lao is the first Filipino member of Federation Internationale des Journalists et Ecrivains du Vin et des Spiritueux or FIJEV based in France. He has the only weekly wine column in the country called Sip by Sip, appearing at the Manila Standard Today every Wednesday, and is a freelance wine writer/contributor to several magazines.
