The Lind Hotels is set to expand to Palawan with the opening of The Lind Coron in 2027, bringing its second property to a destination where the homegrown hospitality brand first began planning its expansion.

CORON, Palawan, September 1, 2026 — The Lind Hotels is developing The Lind Coron, a 91-room and villa resort scheduled to open in 2027, marking the brand’s return to Coron after initially acquiring a property in the destination more than a decade ago.

The company later launched The Lind Boracay before proceeding with its original plans for Coron.

The new resort will comprise rooms and private villas, with the latter featuring individual dipping pools and dedicated Villa Hosts. The development is positioned to cater to leisure travelers seeking access to Coron’s island-hopping, diving and marine attractions.

The resort’s food and beverage offerings will include Yím, a signature modern Thai restaurant, and Crust, located at the Main House beside the infinity pool. Crust will serve Mediterranean-inspired dishes and locally crafted beverages, with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the sea.

The development will also introduce The Spa Wellness Coron, bringing The Spa Wellness brand to Palawan. The property will additionally operate its own dive center, with access to Coron’s underwater attractions, including World War II shipwrecks located near the resort.

For meetings, celebrations and social events, The Lind Coron will have several indoor and outdoor venues. The Gallery, an indoor function space, will accommodate up to 200 guests, while The Cove will provide an outdoor setting. A Roof Deck at the highest point of the resort will offer 360-degree views and serve as a venue for weddings and other special events.

“The goal is to create a resort that belongs in its setting rather than competes with it,” said Pierre Henrichs, Chief Operating Officer of The Lind Hotels. “We want guests to experience the beauty, authenticity and adventure of Coron while enjoying the hospitality and service they have come to associate with The Lind Hotels.”

The Lind Hotels said the development represents the company’s return to the destination where its first property acquisition took place. The brand subsequently established The Lind Boracay, which has since gained international recognition and became the first Boracay hotel included in the MICHELIN Guide.

Ahead of the opening, The Lind Hotels will participate in the Philippine Travel Mart from September 4 to 6, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City.
