Valiram opens Läderach second Philippine chocolaterie at Greenbelt 5

Swiss chocolatier brings its fresh chocolate creations and more than six decades of craftsmanship to Makati

Makati City, September 9, 2026 — Swiss chocolatier Läderach has expanded its presence in the Philippines with the opening of its second chocolaterie at Greenbelt 5 in Makati City.

Opened by Valiram, the new store brings Läderach’s signature Swiss chocolate creations and artisanal craftsmanship to one of Makati’s premier business and lifestyle destinations.

At the heart of the store is Läderach’s iconic FrischSchoggi, its fresh chocolate offering where large slabs of chocolate are broken by hand into pieces according to each customer’s preference.

The Greenbelt 5 chocolaterie also offers an assortment of handcrafted pralines and truffles, mini mousses, tablet bars, FrischSchoggi Mini, as well as snacking and seasonal selections. Designed for indulgence and gifting, the chocolates are also positioned as treats to be shared during celebrations and special occasions.

Freshness remains central to Läderach’s chocolate-making philosophy. The brand’s creations are made in Switzerland using carefully selected ingredients and are sold exclusively through Läderach chocolateries around the world.

Läderach entered the Philippine market with its first chocolaterie at SM Mall of Asia. Following the Greenbelt 5 opening, the brand is set to further expand its local presence with a third location at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.

The Läderach Greenbelt 5 store is located on the ground floor and is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays to Thursdays, and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

All of its chocolate is produced exclusively in the canton of Glarus, Switzerland, allowing the company to maintain control over quality throughout the production process.
