MANILA, 23 April 2026SAKE MANILA 2026 is set to return to Okada Manila on May 22, promising its most elevated edition yet as the country’s premier sake and Japanese cultural experience.

Fresh from the April 22 press conference, organizers unveiled new sake labels and shared plans for a more refined celebration of Japanese craftsmanship, cuisine, and lifestyle. Now in its third year, SAKE MANILA has grown from a standout sake showcase into one of Manila’s most anticipated luxury lifestyle events, drawing enthusiasts, collectors, tastemakers, and industry insiders.

What sets SAKE MANILA apart is its evolution beyond a traditional tasting event. Guests are invited into a curated journey through Japan’s rich beverage heritage, featuring premium sake, rare Japanese whiskies, artisanal spirits, and curated wines in an atmosphere designed for discovery, connection, and indulgence.

Raymond Joseph shared with Hospitality News Philippines that this year’s SAKE MANILA promises to be the best one yet, both for guests and participating suppliers.

One of the major highlights announced for 2026 is the arrival of new and highly anticipated sake labels. According to Raymond, this year’s lineup includes Daisichi, Nanbubijin, Suegei, Koshino Kanbai, and more—expanding an already impressive portfolio of premium and hard-to-find selections not commonly available in the Philippine market.

Raymond also revealed that more than 40 suppliers are joining this year’s event. Compared to last year, he noted that not all suppliers were able to participate, making this year’s lineup even stronger and more complete.

These additions build on the success of previous editions, which featured more than 200 labels alongside cultural performances and immersive showcases. This year, guests can once again expect expert-led tastings, brand presentations, and opportunities to deepen their appreciation for sake and Japanese beverage culture.

Culinary artistry remains central to the experience, with specially crafted food pairings by the culinary team of Okada Manila. Chef Josef Teuschler shared that every dish has been created exclusively for the event—not only to complement the beverages, but to become part of the one-night-only experience itself.

For the organizers, SAKE MANILA represents more than a showcase of fine drinks. Robi Joseph described it as a unique fusion of tradition, flavor, and festivity, carefully curated to leave a lasting impression on every guest. Ralph Joseph added that the event continues to grow each year, with guests encouraged to take their time, enjoy every pairing, and fully immerse themselves in everything prepared for the evening.

Raymond Joseph emphasized the deeper vision behind the concept: bringing Japan’s finest treasures closer to Manila and into the hearts of Filipinos who experience them. “If we can bring sake culture to the Philippines, it will be a fantastic evening—a magical one.”

With more than 1,000 guests expected, SAKE MANILA 2026 is poised to be its biggest edition yet. To be held at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila, the event will bring together luxury, culture, and community for a night of exceptional Japanese food and drinks.

Tickets are priced at Php6,000 per person, inclusive of unlimited food, sake, spirits, and beer. Visit www.sakemanila.ph for ticket purchases.
