The Philippines is poised to take centre stage in the regional tourism landscape as it hosts the 45th ASEAN Tourism Forum (ATF) 2026 in Mactan, Cebu, from 27 January to 4 February 2026, welcoming key players from the global travel and tourism industry.

As the host country, the Philippines will bring together ASEAN Tourism Ministers, National Tourism Organisations (NTOs), senior government officials, TRAVEX exhibitors, international buyers, and media representatives, continuing ATF’s long-standing mission of promoting ASEAN as a unified and compelling tourism destination.

A cornerstone of the forum, ATF TRAVEX 2026, will once again spotlight the depth and diversity of ASEAN’s tourism offerings. Exhibitors from ASEAN Member States will engage in meaningful business exchanges with hosted buyers and international media, reinforcing the region’s collective strength in the global travel market.

Scheduled from 28 to 30 January 2026, the three-day TRAVEX programme will feature extensive networking opportunities alongside curated cultural experiences. Delegates can also look forward to five pre-show tours and eight post-show tours, offering immersive explorations of the Philippines’ varied destinations—from pristine beaches and island resorts to rich cultural and heritage sites.

Enhancing business efficiency, exhibitors and buyers will benefit from 32 pre-scheduled one-to-one business appointments, allowing participants to maximise engagement even before arriving in Mactan.

TTG Asia Media, known for its proven track record in delivering high-quality TRAVEX events, has been appointed as the official TRAVEX Secretariat for ATF Philippines.

Complementing the business programme, the host country has lined up a series of social and networking events, including the Opening Ceremony, Welcome Reception and Dinner, and Closing Ceremony, giving delegates a taste of the warmth, hospitality, and vibrant culture that define the Filipino spirit.

Beyond trade and networking, ATF 2026 will also feature the ASEAN Tourism Conference, where regional and international experts will gather to discuss emerging trends, key challenges, and future opportunities in tourism. The conference aims to deepen collaboration between public and private sector stakeholders while promoting innovative and sustainable tourism development across the region.

“ATF TRAVEX continues to be a vital platform for building connections and driving growth across ASEAN,” said Mr Darren Ng, Managing Director, TTG Asia Media. “We are proud to serve as the official TRAVEX Secretariat for ATF Philippines and look forward to an inspiring and productive edition that showcases the spirit of ASEAN tourism.”

With preparations well underway, ATF 2026 in Mactan, Cebu is set to be a celebration of connection, collaboration, and creativity—where ASEAN’s boundless horizons come together in shaping a brighter future for regional tourism.
