Ayala Land Hospitality (ALH) and Marriott International have officially signed an agreement recently to bring the globally celebrated Moxy Hotels brand to the Philippines, with the launch of Moxy Circuit Makati.
Slated to open in the heart of Circuit Makati, the 260-room hotel will be part of a vibrant 21-hectare mixed-use estate, blending culture, entertainment, retail, and active lifestyle spaces. The property promises a bold, design-forward stay tailored for today’s socially connected, experience-driven traveler.
“Moxy Hotels is celebrated worldwide for its playful, high-energy vibe that makes travel feel exciting and different,” said Kevin Iranzo, Director, Hotel Development – Philippines, Marriott International. “It’s the perfect fit for dynamic urban destinations filled with culture and entertainment. We’re truly excited to bring Moxy Hotels to the Philippines and especially in Circuit Makati.”
The move aligns with ALH’s aggressive growth strategy to double its hotel room inventory to 8,000 by 2030, as announced earlier this year.

“Our vision remains steadfast: to bring Filipino hospitality to the global stage by crafting experiences that connect guests more deeply with each place and its culture,” said ALH President and CEO George Aquino. “With Moxy Hotels, we offer travelers a playful and vibrant hotel experience. We’re excited to collaborate with Marriott to create what we believe will set a new benchmark for authentic, dynamic, and imaginative urban destinations.”
True to Moxy’s vibrant identity, the hotel will feature smartly designed rooms, social check-ins at Bar Moxy, co-working spaces, fitness facilities, and event venues. Adding a distinctly Filipino flair, the interiors will showcase original artwork from local komiks artists—infusing the space with humor, nostalgia, and storytelling.
“Moxy is set to be our guests’ backstage pass to the city’s creative pulse,” said Paloma Urquijo Zobel de Ayala, Creative Director. “From design to service touchpoints, every stay is thoughtfully curated to reflect the spirit of the neighborhood and the moments that matter, always with a dash of fun and a sense of adventure. Whether you’re creatively curious or simply seeking a design-forward, accessible stay, Moxy is poised to become the go-to destination in Manila’s rising arts hub, and we can’t wait to share this project with you.”
The debut of Moxy in the Philippines marks another milestone in Marriott’s continued expansion in the country, where it currently operates 12 properties across six brands, with more in the pipeline.
