Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan officially opened on December 19, 2025, becoming the first Marriott-branded city hotel in Mactan and marking a key milestone in the island’s evolving hospitality scene.
The 196-room hotel forms part of Mahi Center, a mixed-use commercial development owned and developed by AppleOne Group, whose retail component opened a day earlier. The launch underscores AppleOne’s continued investment in Cebu’s urban growth.
Fairfield by Marriott Cebu Mactan offers 89 standard twin rooms, 94 standard queen rooms, and 13 deluxe queen rooms. Facilities include two flexible meeting spaces spanning 256.22 square meters, a fitness center, and an all-day dining restaurant. Its modern, Scandinavian-inspired design, paired with smart amenities and attentive service, elevates the city hotel experience in Cebu.
Located just five minutes from Mactan-Cebu International Airport, the hotel is designed for both business and leisure travelers, offering convenience, comfort, and the warmth of Filipino hospitality at the gateway to the island.
AppleOne’s second Marriott-branded property, following Sheraton Cebu Mactan Resort, Fairfield introduces a “bleisure” concept that bridges city energy with relaxed island living within the growing Mahi Center hub.

The opening also marks Mahi Center’s first operational milestone as Mactan’s newest lifestyle destination, featuring an expanding lineup of tenants including Lapu-Lapu City’s first ABACA Baking Company, S&R New York Style Pizza, and the return of the area’s only KFC.
