There’s a particular kind of hush that falls over a room just before magic happens. A collective pause.  Conversation trailing off, silence the phone, and let curiosity take the lead. You don’t quite know what to expect—only that for the next two hours, reality bend just enough to surprise you.

This is the spell  Grand Hyatt Manila casts with  The Magic Table, an immersive dining and entertainment experience unlike anything currently in the Philippines.  Following an exclusive media preview in September, the hotel officially unveiled this extraordinary concept—a gastronomy with mind-bending illusion, and places guests at the very heart of the spectacle.

At the very center of the enchantment are The Clairvoyants, internationally celebrated mentalists Thommy Ten and Amélie van Tass. Known globally as World Champions of Mental Magic and recipients of Hollywood’s prestigious Academy of Magical Arts, often dubbed as the “Oscar” of the magic world. The duo first captured public imagination as finalists of America’s Got Talent, writing above nearly 100,000 contestants. Since then, they have headlined Broadway’s most successful magic show, performed over 500 shows at the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas, and delivered more than 100 performances at the Venetian Resort. Their tours continue to earn standing ovations and critical acclaim, solidifying their reputation as one of the most sought-after acts in the world of magic.

At The Magic Table, however, this is no distant stage performance. The experience is designed to immerse diners in a world of wonder, where they become part of the magic itself. An interactive one, carefully choreographed so that each guest feels woven into the narrative. Storytelling, illusion, sensory surprises, and  cinematic projections unfold in an intimate setting. The atmosphere is carefully crafted to transport guests into a realm of enchantment, ensuring that every reveal feels personal, every moment, deliberate.

Complementing the spectacle is a meticulously designed culinary journey. Guests may choose from four curated menus, each paired with bespoke cocktails or mocktails. The Wizard’s Essential Menu, priced P8,500 net per person, opens with  forest and porcini mushroom pâté with hazelnut soil, fig, lemon, pistachio and Manuka honey, followed by butter-poached Hokkaido scallop with herb crust, sun-dried tomato and crustacean bisque. Highlights include crab meat & codfish brandade with sake-marinated ikura and avocado, and Mulwarra tenderloin beef Wellington served with bone marrow & café de Paris butter jus. Dessert arrives as a theatrical finale, a Chocolate and hazelnut sphere with espresso, chocolate brownie, cherry sorbet and bourbon sac.

For an elevated indulgence, The Grand Illusion Menu enhances the signature beef Wellington with pan-seared foie gras and freshly-shaved black truffle at PHP 9,500 net. Vegetarian diners are equally considered with The Enchanted Garden Menu at P7,500 net, while younger guests aged six to twelve can enjoy the playful  Young Magician’s Feast for P4,000 net.

The drinks are as imaginative as the show. Signature creations include Vanished—a surprising blend of tequila, strawberry and almond syrup, lemon and milk; Illusion No. 1  with  rum, ube mix and pandan syrup; and the  Canuplin Highball combining gin, toasted Japanese rice syrup, banana liqueur and Fever-Tree soda. Mocktails ensure everyone can partake in the magic.

With just 40 seats per show, The Magic Table runs approximately two hours, offering dinner seatings at 6:00 PM and 8:30 PM dinner, subject to availability. Tables are arranged in groups of four or eight to ensure optimal views of the immersive projections. A smart casual dress code completes the polish for an elegant atmosphere.

Located at 8th Avenue, corner 35th Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Grand Hyatt Manila once again redefines what luxury hospitality can be. With The Magic Table, the hotel offers guests not just a dinner and entertainment, it delivers a transformative evening where taste, imagination, and illusion converge.

And as the final trick unfolds and applause fills the room, one thing becomes clear: some nights are meant to be remembered not for what you saw, but for how completely you believed.
