This 2025, Novotel Manila marks its 10th anniversary with a theme, “Timeless at Ten, Forever Novotel” honoring its storied beginnings, dynamic present, and the bright chapters that lie ahead.
On November 17, the hotel commemorated this milestone with a spectacular Blue-and-Gold Anniversary Gala at the Monet Grand Ballroom. The evening came alive with world-class performances, including an artistic unveiling of the event’s key visual and a stirring “My Novotel Story” video that traced the property’s journey from blueprint to landmark. Central to this story are the hotel’s dedicated Heartists, whose passion and commitment have shaped Novotel Manila into a home of warmth and connection for guests from around the world.
Maria Manlulu-Garcia, the first Filipina Area General Manager of Accor Philippines for PME brands and Cluster General Manager of Novotel and ibis Styles Manila Araneta City, reflected on the hotel’s decade-long legacy: “As the first Novotel in the Philippines, this hotel is more than a structure; it is a home built on passion, resilience, and the countless memories we have created with all of you.”
The celebration also honored the partners and visionaries behind the hotel’s success. Accor Vice President of Operations Xavier Cappelut and Araneta Group Board Director Rowell Recinto paid tribute to the individuals who have driven the property’s growth, while a special recognition was given to Mr. Jorge L. Araneta, whose bold vision brought the country’s first Novotel to life. AHI Chorale’s award-winning performance and a 13-piece live orchestra added to the evening’s splendor.
Another highlight was the culmination of the four-month “Drive, Dine & Dream” raffle campaign, which awarded a brand-new Dongfeng Aeolus Mage Crossover SUV and other exceptional prizes, further underscoring Novotel’s commitment to elevating guest experiences.
