As early as October, Casa Roces, a restaurant opposite Malacanang operated by Cravings Group, has unveiled its Christmas packages. It is the first time the Filipino-Spanish restaurant has done so.
It has introduced three set menu packages for a minimum of 20 persons per group. Many of the dishes are heirloom recipes of the Roces family, who turned the old two-storey home to a restaurant frequented by high-level officials of the Philippines.
Set A includes Lengua Ceasar Salad and Mixed Green Salad with Assorted Condiments and Three Kinds of Dressing, Lentejas Soup and Assorted Breads, a carving station featuring Pork Cochinillo con Salsa, Lengua Estopado, Beef Stroganoff, and Chicken Relleno, among others.
Set B features a carving station for Roast Turkey with Gravy and dishes like Beef Kaldereta, Baked Prawns ala Nancy, and Roasted Vegetables.
Meanwhile, Set C has a carving station for Home Cooked Ham with Gravy, which is Casa Roces’ own creation. Entrees include Lengua Con Champignon, Fabada Ala Casa, Pollo Iberico, Baked Maya-Maya Fish in Olive Oil, and Garlic and Capers.
Casa Roces is batting for more weddings and corporate events. There are at least five private dining rooms at the second floor with different capacities. It unveiled wedding packages that include catering menu options and services good for 100 guests.
