Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide has added another hotel under development in Metro Manila, announcing The Westin Manila Sonata Place that will form part of a new build property owned by Robinsons Land Corp.

The 300-room hotel will open in 2019 along San Miguel Avenue in Ortigas. It will offer the brand’s signature amenities like Westin Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Bath experience, and feature three F&B outlets, a fitness studio, swimming pool, and over 1,400 square meters of function space.

The real estate project is Starwood’s first mixed-used development in Southeast Asia. Inside the building will be The Residences at The Westin Manila Sonata Place, a 350-unit residential property that Starwood will also manage. “A dedicated Westin staffed residential team will look after the residents, giving them a full Westin branded experience,” said Rajit Sukumaran, senior vice president, acquisitions and development of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Asia Pacific.
