BOHOL, Philippines — South Palms Resort & Spa Panglao – MGallery Collection is set to open on August 8, 2025, marking the arrival of the first MGallery property in Bohol and introducing a new standard of luxury hospitality on the island.
Located along one of Panglao’s most pristine white-sand beaches and less than five kilometers from Bohol-Panglao International Airport, the 188-key resort blends sustainable design, cultural storytelling, and immersive local experiences. It is the latest addition to Accor’s MGallery Hotel Collection, a global portfolio of boutique hotels known for their distinct character and strong sense of place.
Bohol is increasingly being recognized as one of Southeast Asia’s most promising tourism destinations, with its combination of natural beauty, heritage sites, and marine biodiversity.

With the launch of South Palms Panglao – MGallery Collection, the province aims to strengthen its position as a premium destination while embracing sustainable development and the preservation of local culture.
Designed by renowned creatives including Patricia Ho of White Jacket, Philip Pond of Atelier Pond, and Patrick Keane of Enter Projects Asia, the resort concept draws inspiration from Boholano folklore, with elements reflect connection to nature and culture. With lobby shaded by a majestic Banyan tree, the low-rise resort use locally materials and biophilic design principles — woven headboards, bamboo accents, and coconut wood furnishings.

To mark its opening, South Palms Panglao – MGallery Collection is offering an “Elite Access” promotion, available for booking from July 4 for stays between August 8 and October 31, 2025. The offer includes PHP 3,000 in resort credit for use on dining and leisure, with additional perks for ALL and Accor Plus members.
