Solaire Resort North marked a major milestone as it officially celebrated the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ awarded to its grand lobby installation, The Mangrove, now recognized as the “Largest Glass Tube Installation” in the world.
A GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ official adjucator was present to validate the record, confirming that The Mangrove, measuring 25.396 meters in height, 19.166 meters in width and 24.198 meters in depth measured on May 8, 2025.
During the commemorative event held at the property, Bloomberry Resorts Corp. President and Chief Operating Officer Gregory Hawkins led the celebration, joined by key executives, partners, and officials including GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ adjudicator Emi Saito, Bloomberry Resorts Vice Chairman for Construction and Reconfiguration Donato Almeda, and Solaire Resort North Chief Operation Officer Damian Quayle.
“This isn’t just a celebration of a record—it’s a celebration of a vision realized,” said Hawkins. “At the heart of this property stands The Mangrove, a breathtaking symbol of resilience, creativity, and growth. It represents everything we envisioned when we set out to build not just another resort, but something truly iconic.”

Designed by together by renowned sculptor Nikolas Weinstein, and Samantha Drummond of the Habitus Design Group, The Mangrove stands as the centerpiece of the resort’s main lobby. The structure’s artistry and engineering pushed boundaries to deliver a one-of-a-kind installation that reflects the resort’s commitment to elegance, sustainability, and innovation.
Hawkins paid tribute to the Solaire team, creative collaborators, and supporters who made the recognition possible. “This Guinness World Record belongs to every individual who believed in this dream, contributed to its creation, and continues to bring our vision to life each day,” he said.
As Solaire Resort North celebrates its first anniversary, the GUINNESS recognition serves as a testament to its goal of redefining luxury and excellence in the northern metropolis. Hawkins closed the event by reaffirming the team’s commitment to raising industry standards and creating memorable guest experiences.
