The Hotel Sales and Marketing Association (HSMA) is set to bring back the country’s biggest online travel fair with the September Online Sale (SOS) 2025, running from September 1 to 30, 2025.
Now on its sixth year, SOS has become a trusted platform for Filipino travelers, offering discounts of up to 80% on accommodations, dining, and leisure packages from nearly 100 hotels and resorts nationwide. Bookings made during the month-long online event are valid until 2026 and 2027, giving travelers flexibility and value.
With the theme “Discover the Best Stays in the Philippines,” this year’s SOS highlights experience-driven offers tailored for families, couples, groups of friends, business travelers, and even pet owners.
Unlike traditional travel fairs that require in-person attendance, SOS allows customers to browse and book from home via hsma.org.ph/sos, providing more time to choose the best deals without the pressure of crowds or traffic.
“SOS provides a more relaxed, flexible, and accessible booking experience that truly puts travelers first,” said Ma. Celeste Romualdo, HSMA SOS Project Head and Director for Membership.
Wide range of deals
Participating properties across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are offering: City escapes in Metro Manila starting at ₱2,800 per night; North and South Luzon stays in Baguio, Tagaytay, Batangas, and Rizal with discounts of up to 63%; and, Island getaways in Palawan, Boracay, Cebu, Bohol, Iloilo, and Davao featuring 3D2N packages, Halal-friendly stays, spa credits, and island tours. Special offers also include Muslim-friendly dining, pet-friendly rooms, wellness escapes, and bundled family packages valid for up to two years.
Supporting domestic tourism
SOS 2025 reinforces the Department of Tourism’s “Love the Philippines” campaign by encouraging Filipinos to rediscover local destinations and support the domestic travel industry.
“Love the Philippines finds its perfect partner in SOS. Together, we invite Filipinos to rediscover our destinations, support local tourism workers, and celebrate the richness of our country,” said DOT Assistant Secretary Sharlene Batin.
HSMA President Loleth So added that SOS makes world-class hospitality more accessible, while HSMA Vice President Amie Villena emphasized that the event is about “curating meaningful experiences” for all types of travelers.
Since its launch in 2020, SOS has generated over ₱122.5 million in sales, with consistent support from DOT and hospitality leaders. This strong support network underscores the event’s credibility and commitment to promoting Philippine tourism.
