Filinvest Hospitality ushers in a new era of growth, guest-centric innovation, and brand excellence across its hotels, resorts, and lifestyle portfolio.
Alabang, Muntinlupa — Filinvest Hospitality announced the appointment of Francis Gotianunas Chief Executive Officer and James Montenegro as President & Chief Operating Officer, marking a strategic new chapter for the company as it continues to strengthen its footprint in the Philippine hospitality industry. The leadership team is complemented by First Vice President Ria Sarrosa, who oversees hotel and restaurant operations, ensuring every guest experience is seamless and memorable.
The announcement was made last Thursday at Firehouse Pizza, Quest Plus Filinvest Alabang, with travel and lifestyle media in attendance to witness the unveiling of the new leadership and a refreshed Filinvest Hospitality logo.
Speaking at the media luncheon, Gotianun emphasized that this transition goes beyond titles. “By combining our hospitality businesses under one umbrella brand, Filinvest Hospitality, we can ensure greater focus and momentum moving forward,” he said, framing the company’s renewed vision for integrated hospitality experiences.
Montenegro added that execution remains a cornerstone of the group’s philosophy. “Over the last few years, we have built the capability to execute at every touchpoint of our brands. From rooms to restaurants to active lifestyle experiences, our aim is to consistently deliver excellence while anticipating what guests need next.”
Sarrosa, on the frontlines of service delivery, highlighted the importance of translating vision into everyday guest experiences. “We turn our brand promises into trainable, scalable service behaviors. Anchored by our service culture, this approach ensures superior guest experiences across every property and dining concept.”
Filinvest Hospitality’s portfolio spans luxury, business, and lifestyle destinations, including Crimson Hotels & Resorts, Quest Hotels & Resorts, and the Grafik Hotel Collection. Its dining portfolio features celebrated establishments such as Enye by Chele Gonzalez, recognized by the Michelin Guide; Aka by Naoki Eguchi; Azure Beach Club; Saffron Café; Rare Bar & Grill; Puso Bistro & Bar; and Mosaic Latin Grill, recently awarded Best Restaurant in the island at the Condé Nast Johansens Awards for Excellence 2026. Homegrown concepts like Baker J, Firehouse Pizza, and Alibi Lounge & Bar further enrich the culinary offerings.
Complementing its hospitality and dining brands are lifestyle and wellness assets, including Mimosa Plus Golf Course in Clark, Aum Spa, and Timberland Mountain Bike Park in San Mateo, Rizal. Gotianun described these as critical to delivering a full-spectrum guest experience. “Guests are dynamic; they deserve experiences that are thoughtful, engaging, and memorable. We are constantly evolving to meet and exceed their expectations.”
Montenegro emphasized the holistic approach that sets Filinvest Hospitality apart. “We focus on the entire journey, from the first touchpoint to the last, because we believe controlling the full scope of hospitality creates a brand our guests trust and love.” Sarrosa added that innovation and guest feedback are central to this approach. “We actively listen, adapt, and integrate technology to enhance convenience, ensuring every interaction elevates the guest experience.”
Culture, she noted, is at the heart of the organization. “Hospitality is powered by people. Our approachable, fun, and dynamic work environment enables learning, growth, and passion. This culture flows directly into the guest experience, shaping every stay and meal.” Gotianun echoed this, saying, “No culture, no hospitality. Nurturing our people ensures we deliver genuine Filipino warmth in every interaction.”
Looking ahead, the leadership team envisions Filinvest Hospitality as a benchmark of Filipino hospitality excellence. Gotianun described success as “being admired for our brands, being the place people want to work and stay, and constantly striving to be better—not necessarily bigger, but the best.” Montenegro added that developing employees into future leaders is equally critical, ensuring the company grows sustainably while celebrating Filipino talent.
If Filinvest Hospitality were to be described in three words under the new leadership, Sarrosa summed it up as personable, fun, and dynamic; Montenegro highlighted humble, passionate, and experiential; while Gotianun described it as fun, exciting, and intense—words that collectively capture the company’s spirit as it sets its sights on the future of Philippine hospitality.
Filinvest Hospitality is the hospitality arm of Filinvest Development Corporation, managing a growing portfolio of hotels, resorts, dining, and lifestyle experiences across the Philippines.
