Robinsons Hotels and Resorts (RHR), a business unit of Robinsons Land Corporation, has announced a significant expansion of its upscale and ultra-luxury portfolio with a PHP 10 billion investment over the next few years. This investment will add over 990 room keys to its portfolio and includes the launch of the ultra-luxury hotel NuStar in Cebu, the lifestyle brand Grand Summit in key locations such as Cebu and Pangasinan, and the highly anticipated Fili, the first and only Filipino-owned five-star hotel brand, in Bridgetowne, Metro Manila.
This strategic move aims to solidifyRHR’s position as a leader in the hospitality sector and elevate its standing among globally recognized brands catering to a wide range of market segments. The Php 10 billion investment is expected to drive long-term growth, enhance guest experiences, and establish RHR as a key player in the country’s thriving tourism and real estate sectors.
With 30 properties in 20 cities and municipalities nationwide, RHR remains the largest and most diversified hotel group in the Philippines. Fili Hotel, the first Filipino five-star hotel brand that debuted in NUSTAR Resort complex in Cebu, has been recognized for its architectural design and will soon open in Bridgetowne, Metro Manila. It will soon rise alongside the Opus Mall and the iconic Victor statue.
NUSTAR, an ultra-luxury hotel brand, will complete the NUSTAR Resort complex in Cebu, catering to discerning local and international guests.
Grand Summit, a lifestyle brand, will also expand with properties in Cebu and Pangasinan, with Grand Summit Cebu completing the NUSTAR Resort complex, and Grand Summit Pangasinan bringing upscale hospitality to the region alongside the expansive Robinsons mall.
