Noble Korean Cuisine highlights buffet feasts in Sofitel Manila

Sofitel Manila invites you to savor the rich and vibrant flavors of Korea, the ‘Land of the Morning Calm,’ in an extraordinary collaboration with esteemed Korean cuisine expert, Chef Lily Min.

Throughout February to March 2024, Royal Feast and Masterclass at Spiral by Chef Lily Min takes center stage at Metro’s Best City Hotel, Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila.

From February 16 to March 16, 2024, Spiral’s Asian atelier will showcase an array of South Korean Noble Cuisine. The culinary offerings include Haeparinangche (Jellyfish salad), Chadolbagi Salad (Marbling beef salad), Daehajatzeup muchim (King prawn salad with pine nut sauce), Galbijjim (Braisedshort beef ribs), Yukjeon (Beef pancake), and more.

Chef Lily Min, with culinary expertise spanning for over three decades has honed her skills in diverse areas, including confectionery and bread courses, traditional Korean cuisine, extensive kimchi making, Chinese culinary cuisine, and her proficiency in Korean Royal Cuisine. Her culinary mastery is not only demonstrated through her renowned cookbook publications, including Preo & Dios Cookbook and Easy Korean Food 114 in South Korea, and the K-drama Cookbook in the Philippines (released and published in 2020), but also through the establishment of her own brand, “Lily Lab.” This brand offers authentic Korean retail and deli products. As the recognized Ambassador of Korean Cuisine in the country, Chef Lily Min also imparts her culinary wisdom through cooking classes at the Korean Culture Center of the Philippines.

Catch Chef Lily Min in action every Friday and Saturday at Spiral during lunch and dinner. On February 24 and March 9, fortunate Spiral patrons can witness a Korean Royal Cuisine masterclass at 1:30 PM at Spiral 2 Go. And from February 16 to March 16, lobby restaurant and lounge, Le Bar, will feature Chef Lily’s signature dish — Ddeokgalbi, a Korean minced, seasoned and grilled beef ribs, served with salad. This will be showcased with preparation and presentation for a truly exceptional dining experience.
