Twin Lakes Hotel invites wine lovers to discover its latest gem – the Wine Gallery.

This newest addition is located right below the basement level of the hotel where it leads you to the estate’s sprawling private vineyard. The hotel welcomes you to sit, look out the vineyard, and enjoy a moment with a bottle of their best Harveys Sherry wines collection. 

“Our beautiful setting, our vineyard—these aren’t just backdrops. They’re part of the whole picture. And now, with our Wine Gallery, we’ve added another layer of your stay,” said Rowena Relucio, Twin Lakes Hotel General Manager.

The Wine Gallery boasts of French industrial architecture and exquisite artworks from Spain paying homage to luminaries of the 1900s – Alexandra Dumas, Victor Hugo, and Gustave Eiffel. These inspirations were conceived by the visionary Design & Planning Team of Global Estates and Resorts, Inc. (GERI), led by Assistant Vice President and Head of Interior Design, Marielle Capistrano.

Twin Lakes Wine Gallery offers a breathtaking view of Taal Lake, sprawling greens and the beautiful eastern skies. Its interior is designed with meticulous metalwork, delicate molding, and subtle embellishments adorning every corner. While sophisticated furnishings like liquor bottle lamps with Toile de Juoy shades, and artworks sourced from the Fundador bodegas in Spain enrich the opulent setting. As for the pièce de résistance, a grand window reminiscent of Victor Laloux’s Musee d’Orsay clock chimes every hour.

In collaboration with Emperador Distillers, the gallery is set to become a haven for Harveys sherries paired with a European-inspired culinary experience. Guests will have exclusive access to the full Harveys Sherries collection, including Amontillado, Palo Cortado, Fino, Oloroso, Pedro Ximenez, Medium Dry, and V.O.R.S, (Very Old Rare Sherry).

Carefully crafted menu to complement the nuanced flavors of Sherry is offered for a gastronomic adventure from staple tapas to hot entrees such as Pompet Florentine and Herb-Crusted Lamb Chops.

“I must admit, much like some of you, I’m also starting my own Sherry adventure, but there’s  something captivating about this elixir that got me hooked. Tonight’s  Sherry Holiday Soiree isn’t just about showcasing our collection, but it’s about the whole dining experience, as we here at Twin Lakes are all about the full experience,” Relucio added.

To deepen the appreciation for Sherry, the gallery will host regular food and wine pairing classes led by partnered sommeliers. These immersive sessions cater to both enthusiasts and novices, guiding them into the world of Sherry through expert-led classes and exclusive private discovery sessions.

With seating for 65 guests, including a lounge area, bar, al fresco dining, and a private room, the Wine Gallery provides an ideal backdrop for intimate gatherings. Beyond celebrations, the gallery welcomes exhibitions and diverse events, creating a canvas where art, discussions, and creativity converge.

The 122 keys Twin Lakes Hotel is located within the integrated tourism estate development of Megaworld Corporation in Laurel Batangas.
