The 32nd Annual TTG Travel Awards  2023 celebrated the outstanding achievements of 66 exceptional players in the travel and tourism industry across the Asia Pacific region.

Winners from the Philippines were the Tourism Promotions Board, which received the award for Best National Tourism Office, and Raffles Makati, honored as the Best City Hotel in Manila.

This year’s edition introduced eight new categories in the Airline, Hotel, Travel Services, and Travel Agency sectors, making it a truly momentous occasion for the 46 recipients who received these prestigious awards. Notable winners included Marina Bay Sands for Best Integrated Resort, The RuMa Hotel and Residence for Best City Hotel in Kuala Lumpur/Petaling Jaya, Kempinski for Best Luxury Hotel Brand, Hamad International Airport for Best Airport, and The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong for Best Luxury Hotel.

The TTG Travel Hall of Fame made a triumphant return after a hiatus due to the pandemic. This prestigious honor is reserved for organizations that have consistently maintained their excellence for 10 consecutive years. This year, three new inductees joined the ranks of esteemed honorees: Harbour Plaza Hotels & Resorts for Best Local Hotel Chain, Phoenix Tours and International Inc for Best Travel Agency in Chinese Taipei, and Resorts World at Sentosa Pte Ltd for Best Integrated Resort, bringing the total to 17 members.

The Outstanding Achievement Awards category, which is not determined by voting, saw Singapore, Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Marriott International recognized as Destination of the Year, Best Travel Marketing Effort, and Most Sustainable Travel Company, respectively. These awards were personally selected by TTG’s award-winning editorial team in recognition of their remarkable contributions to the industry.

Several winners from previous years successfully defended their titles, including Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok for Best City Hotel in Bangkok, Pan Pacific Hotels Group for Best Regional Hotel Chain, and Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre at CentralWorld for Best Meetings & Conventions Hotel. Veterans Scoot, named Best Low-Cost Carrier, and Frasers Hospitality, recognized as Best Serviced Residence Operator, also secured consecutive wins in their respective categories.

The 32nd Annual TTG Travel Awards 2023 Ceremony and Gala Dinner took place at the Centara Grand at CentralWorld, the official venue sponsor for the event. This annual event coincided with Incentive Travel & Conventions, Meetings Asia (IT&CMA) and Corporate Travel World (CTW) Asia-Pacific, the region’s only double-bill event in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) and corporate travel sectors.

The opening of voting for the next edition of awards will be announced in 2024.
