Park Inn Davao celebrates art and music in Kadayawan Festival

After a two-year break, the “Kadayawan sa Davao” is finally celebrated in-person and no longer virtual, creating much exhilaration within the city and the tourism industry. Now on its 37th year of celebration, the festival serves as thanksgiving for the bountiful harvest, rich culture, and a celebration of life. 

To officially celebrate the festival, Park Inn by Radisson Davao participated the revelry by launching the Pinta Madayaw: A Kadayawan Art Exhibit in partnership with Group of Aspiring Mindanawon Artists (GAMA). The exhibit aims GAMA and Pasudkaroy, a non-profit group composed of visual artists who belong to the Indigenous Persons community and aims to increase the number of  visual artists of their community.

The hotel also launched the Kadayawan month-long room and F&B promotions with string of activities and offerings such as Staycation package at P6,555 with the inclusion of a Kadayawan-themed set meal for two, Flourless Durian Cheesecake with layers of graham crust, cream cheese and Malagos’ dark and white chocolates, and the Kadayawan Set Meal at P3,850 – good for 5 persons with each set comes with an abundant platter of grilled chicken, tuna, squid, beef satay, sinigang na hipon sa santol, turmeric fried rice, ube rice turon and pomelo juice.
