Hilton Manila announces the appointment of Benoit Chargy as the hotel’s new Executive Chef. A French national with over 27 years of experience in the culinary industry, Chef Benoit will oversee the hotel’s entire food and beverage operation including its three highly-acclaimed dining destinations: Kusina Sea Kitchens, Hua Yuan-Brasserie Chinoise, and Madison Lounge & Bar.

Chef Benoit started his illustrious career in the world of pastry at the infamous “Patisserie Grodenier”, a prestigious Michelin Star and Compagnon du Tour de France establishment in Cannes. He then worked his way up through the ranks by consistently working in the kitchens of award-winning five-star properties and prestigious restaurants where he racked up several notable accolades such as “Best Pastry Chef in the Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards (HAPA)” and “Taste of Waldorf” 2016 winner in New York among others.

Prior to joining Hilton Manila, Chef Benoit spent two years elevating the culinary experience of the famed Conrad Bali and has been with the Hilton Group for nearly two decades with significant stints in Jakarta, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, and the Waldorf Astoria Beijing.
