Manila, 07 November 2018 – Diamond Hotel Philippines ushered in the holiday season with its traditional Christmas Tree Lighting event of its 25-foot tall Christmas tree at the hotel lobby last night. This year’s theme is set to bring your holiday dream to a reality. Transformed to a dreamy wonderland, the hotel’s eye-catching Christmas tree and elegant interiors are decked out with sparkling crystals, festive Christmas balls accentuated by blush, red and golden hues.
Graced by the winners of the 2018 Ms Earth beauty pageant and highlighted by the performances of Bayanihan, The Philippine National Folk Dance Company, as they danced to the tunes of the season in addition to Christmas music by the Pansol Choir. Santa Claus with his famous red bag full of goodies was on hand to greet guests.
General Manager Vanessa Suatengco shares the hotel’s holiday inspiration, “Our inspiration for this year’s celebration is more about making dreams and wishes come true. Kanlungan ni Maria is a non-stock, non-profit organization with a mission to provide adequate and sufficient home care, basic and medical needs for the abandoned, sick, poor and homeless elderly. Guests are encouraged to be involved in this act of kindness by donating Php300 and in return the guests will be entitled to hang one Christmas ornament with their name on the tag at the Charity Tree at the lobby.
