In line with the move of The Ascott Limited – Philippines cluster to further expand their presence in the country, Ascott has appointed two of their executives to oversee the growth and operations on a wider scale and these are Philip Barnes who got promoted to Area Manager for the Philippines, and Susan Salcedo as City Manager for properties in Metro Manila.

Barnes has been with the Philippines cluster since 2011, starting as Residence Manager for Somerset Olympia Makati. He progressed his career and was promoted to General Manager for Ascott Bonifacio Global City and Somerset Alabang Manila, and was then re-designated to impart his talents to Ascott Makati, Somerset Millennium Makati and Somerset Alabang Manila in 2017.

Salcedo, on the other hand, joined The Ascott Limited in 2008 as Lifestyle Manager for Ascott Makati and was promoted to Residence Manager for Citadines Salcedo Makati in 2014, and eventually got appointed to General Manager adding Somerset Olympia Makati under her wing.
