Edsa Shangri-La, Manila announces the appointment of Gem Valmores, CHBA (Certified in Hospitality Business Acumen), as director of sales and marketing of the country’s premiere urban resort. Bringing twenty-four years of solid experience in the hospitality business, Valmores returns to the Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts where she first came on board in 2004 at the Makati Shangri-La.

Valmores will be instrumental in driving the strategic business direction of the hotel, overseeing all key departments of the sales and marketing division, namely room sales, events management, customer sales, communications and revenue management.
