THAIFEX – HOREC Asia 2025, a distinguished trade show for the HoReCa industry covering hotels, restaurants, cafés, and catering services, was formally opened today with Mr. Pichai Narithaphan, Minister of Commerce, presiding over the ceremony. This event highlights Thailand’s position as Asia’s leading HoReCa business hub. The event is jointly organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion under the Ministry of Commerce, the Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Koelnmesse Germany and is taking place from 5-7 March at Halls 9-12, IMPACT Exhibition Center, Muang Thong Thani.

In its second edition, following the tremendous success of last year, this major trade exhibition features over 460 companies from 25 countries (including Thailand)—making it even larger than the previous year. With 60o international buyers,  the event aims to generate sales of more than 4 billion baht and attract a larger number of foreign attendees, with expectations to exceed 20,000 visitors, international and local buyers, and business professionals.

“The recovery of the tourism and hospitality sectors following the global pandemic, along with Thailand’s status as a renowned global tourist destination, has been an essential factor in the strong growth of the HoReCa industry. Therefore, this edition of THAIFEX – HOREC Asia will undoubtedly serve as a crucial platform to bring together key players across the entire HoReCa supply chain,” Minister Pichai stated.

“In order to foster and facilitate global trade and investment with Thailand, the Thai Government is committed to expanding Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) to open new potential markets. Recently, we have signed the THAI-EFTA FTA, our first FTA with the European Union, as well as the THAI-Bhutan FTA. In the near future, Thailand is expected to finalize FTAs with Israel, the UAE, South Korea, Canada, and the UK. These FTAs will attract foreign investment and create valuable opportunities, especially for businesses in the HoReCa sector.”

As one of the world’s most comprehensive HoReCa trade fairs, THAIFEX – HOREC Asia 2025 spans 27,000 sq.m. of exhibition space, covering nine categories: Bakery & Ice-Cream, Café & Bar, Cleaning & Laundry, Dining, Furnishing, Kitchen, Services, Tech, and Wellness, plus a special HoReCa Food zone.

The event features various special highlights and activities, including the ASEAN Barista Team Championship, the Thailand Ultimate Housekeeping Challenge, the THAIFEX – HOREC Xperiential Zone showcasing industry trends, and the Asian Pizza Show Academy. There is also the THAIFEX – HOREC Academy that will offer expert-led seminars, workshops, live cooking demonstrations, and engaging activities throughout the three-day event.
