After opening Microtel by Wyndham South Forbes and UP Technohub this year, Microtel Inns & Suites (Pilipinas), Inc. confirmed two more hotels in the pipeline during the travel trade product update on November 14 at Microtel by Wyndham Mall of Asia.
Microtel is developing a property in Coron, Palawan and Tuguegarao. The 80-room property in Coron will open next year, according to Jose Mari del Rosario, president and CEO of Microtel group in the Philippines.
The hotels are on top of a second property in Mall of Asia complex, which is slated to be the first TRYP by Wyndham hotel in Asia. TRYP in MOA will open in December 2015, del Rosario revealed.
With its fast expanding portfolio, Microtel is set to become the largest international hotel chain by hotel count in the country.
