The Ascott Limited (Ascott) introduces its co-living brand, lyf, in the Philippines. Set to open in June and July respectively, lyf Malate Manila and lyf Cebu City are two of the eight properties set to open this year as part of the Ascott portfolio. 

lyf (pronounced ‘life’) or ‘live your freedom’ is a lodging concept designed for next-generation guests. The apartments, social spaces, and experiential programmes at lyf properties take an innovative approach to hospitality, offers guests a modern and dynamic experience that emphasizes fostering a sense of community. 

The properties will have modern amenities to showcase a unique and visually striking contemporary design. Communal spaces are designed to encourage interaction and connect guests. There will be a lyf crew, a team of on-site hosts, to organize events and activities to bring guests together and enhance their stay. They also act as a point of contact for residents and guests to provide information and assistance. lyf Malate will have 202 rooms in the heart of Manila’s financial and historical hotspot. Its proximity to the University Belt, shopping centres, restaurants, and bars makes it an ideal base for guests exploring the city. Meanwhile, the 160-room lyf Cebu City will be in the Baseline Cebu. Its convenient location offers easy access to restaurants, shopping centres, and attractions. Both properties will offer One-of-a-Kind, Two-of-a-Kind, and All-Together (Two Bedroom) apartments.
