The much-awaited SKÅL Vikings Party is back at Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila. Last held in 2019, the party of music, overflowing food and drinks will be on September 24 at the Harbor Garden Tent of the hotel and promises to be the biggest Viking party not only in Manila, but in Asia. Aquavit, schnapps, vodka, and crayfish lobsters, will replicate Nordic tradition that is celebrated every August.

“It will be a time to experience Nordic culture, heritage, and cuisine,”related hotel GM Olivier Larcher. “Not only Nordic food but we will have a nice buffet spread of international cuisine and Filipino specialties prepared by no less than Chef Bettina Angeles, the only Filipina Executive Chef in an international hotel in the Philippines,” he added. 

Event’s culinary highlight is the irresistible crayfish, a freshwater lobster cooked in spices and herbs served with traditional Nordic way. This Crayfish Party tradition has been celebrated for centuries in Nordic countries namely Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden while singing and having a good time. 

Guests are encouraged to dress up like a Viking for added fun and the non-stop entertainment on stage with hits from the 70s, 80s, and the favorite Swedish band, ABBA.

Tickets are sold at P4,500, P4,300, P4,100, less P200 until July 29 for early birds. Each ticket holder gets a loot bag and is entitled to one raffle stub that can win prizes from the event’s sponsors.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to the kids of Chosen Children Village Foundation—a home for mentally handicapped and orphaned children.
