Savoy Hotel and Belmont Hotel Manila have joined several other luxury hotels in the city that have opened their establishments to guests entering the General Community Quarantine phase of Metro Manila during the Covid19 virus pandemic.
The hotels continued their long-running partnership with Diversey (Phils) to strengthen their focus on government health and safety protocols against the virus adding their own measures combining thermal scanning, social distancing, and luggage sanitation checks upon check-in, PPE-wearing front liners, strict and regular disinfection of guest rooms, public areas and facilities, and 24-hour in-house clinic operations.
To minimize contact, housekeeping services are lessened to once every three days or upon request, the inclusion of sanitizing kits in the room amenities to complement the disinfection of high frequency touch points and a “safe stay” seal shall be placed in the guest rooms to inform guests that their rooms have not been accessed prior to their arrival.
Buffet dining is still not available but the dining outlets are open to serve packed meals or Grab-and-Go until further notice. Contactless service and social distancing are strictly followed in the hotels’ “limited” in-room dining service.
Outside food deliveries are also limited as a safety precaution.
“We would like to assure all our patrons and stakeholders that both hotels have been regularly and throughly sanitized and disinfected during the Community Quarantine periods and shall continue in the same vein well into the foreseeable future,” said Area General Manager Avinash Menon.
