As Christmas lighting is fast becoming a traditional celebration for hotels, Diamond Hotel Philippines started the festivities rolling by lighting up their 25-foot  Christmas Tree at the Lobby last night. The hotel now welcomes guests with a white whimsical Christmas atmosphere as its Christmas tree is decked with white and gold finery, adorned with crystals and pearlized ornaments

Diamond Hotel’s tree lighting celebration was graced by the family of Mayor Isko Moreno with the special performances by Bayanihan and Pansol Choir. “Santa Claus” also joined the merriment to add holiday cheers. 

Over lavish cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, guests were charmed with the magnificence of the hotel’s yuletide garb, with the interiors festooned with snowy, rustic leaves, stylish ornaments of silver and gold, and reindeers reminiscent of glittering ice sculptures. The tree, in its splendor, was strung in white and gold finery, adorned with crystals and pearled ornaments. This year’s classic color palette bears a symbolic desire for harmony and peace in the modern world, as well as value for inner lightness in a season that celebrates giving, reflection, and selflessness.

The hotel continues its tradition of giving to its chosen beneficiary which is Kanlungan ni Maria, a non-stock, non-profit organization with a mission to provide adequate and sufficient home care, basic and medical needs for the abandoned, sick, poor and homeless elderly. Guests are encouraged to participate by donating Php300 and in return, they are entitled to hang a Christmas ornament with their name at the Charity Tree located in the lobby.
