Makati Shangri-La, Manila announces the recent appointment of Greg Findlay as the new general manager. Mr. Findlay is responsible for overseeing the management and operations of the hotel’s 696 rooms and seven restaurants and bars.

Mr. Findlay brings with him over 18 years of extensive experience in hotel general management. He has led five-star luxury properties and has worked throughout Asia‑Pacific. For the first time, he makes Manila his current city of residence as he joins Makati Shangri-La, Manila as general manager.

Mr. Findlay began his hospitality career in 1992 with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide in rooms and sales and marketing, working his way to becoming director of sales and marketing in Australia. Subsequently, he became general manager of various luxury hotels and resorts from 2000 until today. Prior to joining the Shangri-La group, he was the general manager of The Westin Bund Center in Shanghai, China.
