Microtel by Wyndham on a joint venture with the Laus Group of Companies breaks ground the 80-room Microtel by Wyndham at the Laus Group Complex in San Fernando Pampanga. It will be the 14th Microtel property in the country and scheduled to open in 2018.

Jose Mari del Rosario, President & CEO of PHINMA Microtel Hotels Inc. (Philippine master franchise holder of Microtel) said in a statement, “We are excited to expand the Microtel by Wyndham brand to Pampanga. The Laus Group of Companies is a diversified conglomerate with automotive dealership as its core business. Microtel by Wyndham Pampanga is the group’s first hotel venture. To date, there are now 13 Microtel by Wyndham properties in the Philippines, located at Acropolis QC, Baguio, Batangas, Boracay, Cabanatuan, Cavite, Davao, General Santos, Mall of Asia, Puerto Princesa, Tarlac, UP Technohub QC and South Forbes, in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
