A feast of flavors from across the Pacific await diners at The Café of Hyatt City of Dreams Manila in September. In cooperation with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Foreign Agricultural Service of the Embassy of the United States, the hotel’s culinary team — led by Chef Michael Luedtke— presents premium U.S. meats, grains and wines flown in from across the Pacific.
From May 2 to 7, 2015, the restaurant’s pots and pans will be handed over to guest chefs Jay McCarthy, the corporate chef from Beaver Creek and Vail Chophouse restaurants in Colorado. Chef McCarthy will oversee The Café’s open-theater kitchens, further enhancing the diverse buffet spread of the hotel’s all-day buffet restaurant.
