Launched today was Midori Clark Hotel & Casino’s Little Angels’ Dream Project that targets some 200 Aeta school children as recipients of gifts to fulfill their Christmas wishes.
Little Angels’ Dream Project is Midori’s first corporate social responsibility (CSR) and aims to uplift the spirits of selected children from the Aeta communities this Christmas season.
230 Aeta elementary school children participated in a Christmas tree lighting event and they hung their wish cards on the Christmas tree. The wishes will be distributed to staff, management, and willing sponsors and guests to grant the children’s requests. All the gifts will be given to the recipients on December 21.
Midori Hotel general manager Vic Chan said, “Today we start our Little Angels Dream Project which aims to fulfill wishes of the little children of both Sitio Babo and Sitio Haduan, hoping that by fulfilling their wish, they too can feel the spirit of Christmas.
This is just a start of our vision to live a positive footprint behind, we intend to create an impact which will not only benefit these children but also the communities from where they belong. Next year, together with the help of our generous friends, we want to create a greater impact by trying to help their school in anyway we can by coming up with a variety of fundraising project for the benefit of the children.”
GM Chan gave credit to the owners and management for their support, “Our project would not be possible without the unwavering support of our owners, Mr. Jack Yang and his son Kyle, who have always been there for us from the very start. Midori Clark Hotel and Casino, BBIN, BBI and Eaglesky Techonology and Gaming are all one in his charity project.
