The Philippines is now hosting the Salon Internationale de I’Agroalimentaire (SIAL), the region’s biggest food show. From May 31 to June 2, 2016, agrifood products, wine products, agribusiness industries, as well as foreign food products and equipment will be showcased to the world market.

SIAL made history as it hosted the first ever ASEAN leg in 2014 in conjunction with Manila Food & Beverage Exhibition (MAFBEX) that offered a chance for more participation of local exporters, processors and other agribusiness players, who took the opportunity to showcase a wider array of their best products and services—all at lesser logistical costs.

This year, the B2B platform for the food industry is expected to receive close to 5000 buyers from 24 countries, 300 exhibitors from 16 countries, and 11 national country pavilions from 8 countries including U.S.A., Germany and Italy. SIAL now opens at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.
