Center for Culinary Arts (CCA, Manila) and importer and distributor Sysu International, Inc. have partnered for activities and endeavors that cover culinary competitions, R&D, cooking demonstrations, and co-branding recipes.
Sysu, importer and exclusive distributor of premium global and in-house food brands, was CCA, Manila’s major partner when the culinary school participated in the recent 16th HOFEX held in Hong Kong. The delegation composed of chefs Kerwin Funtanilla, Miguel Lorino, Michael Cheng, and team manager Annali Mariano harvested an array of medals and citations at HOFEX.
Supporting the school’s chef delegates is Sysu’s way of demonstrating its support to CCA, Manila’s advocacy of promoting Filipino cuisine, talent, and ingredients to the world.
Apart from HOFEX, Sysu will also support CCA’s Clash of the Clans Cup this November 2015, a culinary competition for CCA students.
CCA, Manila will also conduct R&D using different Sysu products that can be used for recipe books while CCA chefs will hold cooking demos using Smuckers, Lee Kum Kee, TABASCO, and San Remo products, as well as co-branding recipes which will be featured in selected Cravings Group restaurants.
“Sysu strives to keep up with culinary trends and evolving tastes of consumers. We strive to customize high-grade products to specific customer needs. Which is why finding the right partner, the best people who share our passion and values, is very important. We are very happy to renew our partnership with CCA,” said Marjorie Cleofas, Sysu Trade Marketing Manager.
