Grand Hyatt Manila introduces new executive pastry chef

Grand Hyatt Manila welcomes the talented Executive Pastry Chef Won Young Jeong, whose passion for creating innovative and delicious desserts is sure to delight Grand Hyatt’s guests.

Chef Won Young Jeong’s culinary journey took a sweet turn when he discovered the delectable flavors of tiramisu. This encounter became a pivotal moment in his career, propelling him towards success in the world of pastry. 

Starting his career in renowned Michelin-starred restaurants such as Jean Georges and Eleven Madison Park in New York, Chef Won eventually found his way back to his home country of South Korea as a Pastry Sous Chef at Park Hyatt Seoul. 

Continuing to expand his skills, Chef Won took on the role of pre-opening Executive Pastry Chef at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel before making his mark at Grand Hyatt Manila. Known for his innovative Asian-inspired creations, Chef Won aims to delight customers with his heartwarming sweet treats.

Chef Won completed a Bachelor degree on Restaurant & Food Services Management in Korea, and finished an Associate degree from The Culinary Institute of America.
