Conrad Manila has put a spotlight on women this March with an art installation at Gallery C and month-long dining offers at C Lounge that honor women’s grace, strength, and resilience.
“At Conrad Manila, we acknowledge the invaluable contributions of women in our workplace and beyond. This Women’s Month, we take pride in celebrating their achievements and the essential roles they play in shaping our industry and communities. Throughout March, we honor their dedication and impact with meaningful experiences that reflect our appreciation,” expresses Fabio Berto, the general manager of Conrad Manila.
The art installation, titled “Woman in Progress,” features the work of female artist Kara Pangilinan. This exhibit, part of the hotel’s Of Art and Wine series, showcases 29 artworks that highlight the transitions in the artist’s journey and her belief in continuous growth and change.
Kara Pangilinan is a visual artist who captures human emotions through the intricate lines and patterns of her work. She describes her style as “elaborate expressionism”, as she adds excessive detail on all sorts of scenes and subjects, mostly rotating between linescapes, leaves, lace and ladies.
Her latest collection invites viewers to join her creative journey noting, “We are meant to continually evolve. Through my paintings, I aim to emphasize that we can embrace every version of ourselves and be the multi-faceted, dynamic beings we are meant to be. I hope that guests and viewers feel a sense of peace and introspection when they see the paintings.”
