THAIFEX–HOREC Innovation Awards 2025 announces 10 winners set to transform the HoReCa industry

THAIFEX–HOREC Asia 2025 trade show kicked off in Bangkok Thailand last March 5, with the announcement of 10 groundbreaking winners at the THAIFEX–HOREC Innovation Awards. These winners are at the forefront of innovation in the HoReCa industry, showcasing products and technologies that are set to shape the future of the industry.

A key event in Southeast Asia’s HoReCa (hotel, restaurant, catering) industry, the THAIFEX–HOREC Innovation Awards identifies transformative solutions that are driving the industry forward. With 125 entries from across the region, 36 innovations were recognized, with 26 finalists and 10 winners chosen after a rigorous judging process that assessed efficiency, usability, sustainability, technological advancement, and real-world impact.

Following are the smart solutions that are setting new standards for quality and sustainability in hospitality across various categories:

Bakery & Ice Cream

Principessa Gelato Making Machine by Lucamari. A versatile Italian gelato machine that also makes granita, slushies, and cocktails, featuring air cooling, low energy use, zero water waste, and a digital touchscreen for easy flavor changes. The machine can produce gelato in just 10 minutes with advance preparation of mixes.

Paper Cutlery by Thai Paper.  Eco-friendly cutlery made from compressed paper that is PEFC-certified, fully recyclable, and suitable for hot and cold foods.

Cafe & Bar

A800 by FRANKE. A premium automatic coffee machine with natural flavor customization, cashless payments, and a built-in cup warmer.

Rynn by Nanova. A NanoTechnology-powered water system that removes contaminants while retaining essential minerals for sustainable drinking. The water filter system converts tap water into still or sparkling water.

Bean-free Coffee by Prefer. Southeast Asia’s first bean-free coffee with customizable caffeine levels and unique flavor profiles, using fermentation technology with soy pulp and broken rice to reduce carbon footprint and cost.

Noodle and Beverage Bot by Codemax. An AI-powered smart kitchen with robotics, self-ordering kiosks, and real-time analytics to streamline operations and cut labor costs.

Hybrid Bedsheet & Towel by Hitrade. Hotel-grade towels with TSY technology for increased durability and resistance to industrial washing and bleaching.

The 10 winning solutions were showcased for visitors to witness in action  alongside other next generation hospitality and food service innovations at the  immersive THAIFEX – HOREC Xperiential Zone. Bridging the gap between conceptual innovations and real-world application, the Xperiential Zone offers live  demonstrations by brands and innovators and allows attendees to test, evaluate  and discover how to integrate new solutions into their businesses.
